RDA Riverina Committee Member – Margaret Andreazza. Margaret Andreazza is Administration and Grants Officer for Griffith Regional Theatre and Art Gallery.
Margaret, originally from Central West NSW, moved to the Riverina 16 years ago, and quickly came to know and love the region by working for RDA Riverina's predecessor, Riverina Area Consultative Committee, traveling around the Riverina assisting small businesses with the transition to the GST in 2000.
Since then, Margaret has worked as an advocate for the rice industry, organised a national citrus conference, run her own administration business and managed a Family Support Program on behalf of the Federal Government. Margaret currently works as Administration and Grants Officer for Griffith Regional Theatre and Art Gallery.
Having studied a Bachelor of Arts (Tourism Management) at UTS, Margaret also gained experience in Tourism and Event Management, and is particularly interested in growing regional tourism and relocation to the region, and she can't understand why anyone would want to live in the city when they can have it all here in the Riverina!
Having a young family, Margaret is interested in social and economic issues that affect young people and families, particularly striving for equality between the regions and the cities in areas of education and health and access to opportunities.
