RDA Riverina Committee Member – Patricia Wilkinson. Patricia Wilkinson is a Tourism Strategy Senior Project Officer for Office of Environment and Heritage.
Based in the Riverina highlands town of Tumut, Patricia is passionate about regional tourism having worked in tourism roles throughout regional NSW including Riverina Regional Tourism and Tourism NSW. At both Regional and State level, Patricia has been involved in applied research, planning and campaign development. Patricia has also worked for AusIndustry supporting R&D, attracting venture capital and developing new tourism infrastructure projects.
Patricia currently works for NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) in strategic development and recently played a significant part in applying an evidenced based approach to the development and implementation of the NSW NPWS Tourism Masterplan 2016 - 42021. Her commitment to ensuring regional tourism product reaches its full potential is reflected in Patricia’s longstanding involvement in regional and state tourism awards. In addition she work closely with Ecotourism Australia in accrediting our national park experiences.
Patricia has recently completed a Master in Economic and Regional Development focusing her thesis on Marketing Australian Parks.
