The Telstra Connected Communities Grant Program is now open, offering funding to strengthen resilience, digital capability, and community wellbeing across remote, rural and regional Australia.

This program aims to boost support for local communities by improving resilience, environmental sustainability, and liveability through the power of digital connection.

It focus on enabling communities to:

• Build digital skills that help people live, learn, and work in a digital society

• Strengthen sustainability, inclusion, health, wellbeing, and long-term prosperity

• Improve preparedness, connection, and recovery capacity when disasters occur

Key Information:

• Funding amount: up to $10,000

• Applications close: 26 March 2026, 5pm AEDT

• Funding announced: Successful applicants will be announced by end of June

Eligibility:

• Applicant organisation must be a not-for-profit with either an Incorporation Certificate and/or an ABN

• Projects must be for charitable purposes and offer clear public benefit

• Not-for-profit organisations with or without DGR-1 endorsement are eligible

• Organisations can submit one application per round
