Celebrating NAIDOC Week 2026: 50 Years of Deadly

RDA Riverina proudly recognises NAIDOC Week 2026, celebrating the history, cultures, achievements and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. National NAIDOC Week is observed annually in July and provides an opportunity for all Australians to learn, reflect and celebrate First Nations culture and leadership.

This year’s theme, “50 Years of Deadly” , marks a significant milestone, honouring five decades of celebrating First Nations voices, culture, resilience and achievement.

We encourage our communities across the Riverina to take part in local events, support First Nations businesses and creators, and learn more about the rich cultural heritage of the region.
