Letter of Release

A “Release Letter”, for a 489 visa recipient who wishes to relocate from this region to another region is not required.  Please send an email to the Skilled Migration Officer to advise your efforts taken to relocate and to find employment or to remain in this region.  Permission to relocate may be given and helps our region to understand any difficulties associated with relocation or finding employment.  It also provides peace-of-mind when the needs to broaden job searches further afield into other regions and for when you will be applying for your Permanent Residency visa.

If you choose to work outside a regional area of Australia, it may affect your visa conditions.
