Local Unlimited is being put on by the Arts Centre Cootamundra with the support of the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council to promote local products and provide an opportunity for local producers to come together to promote their products, and network with an aim of developing local branding and identify opportunities for value adding and marketing local products. 

The event will feature Sophie Hansen, Rural Australian Woman of the Year 2016 who runs the popular website “local is lovely” and is a blogger and food writer. 

On Friday evening there will be a supper featuring locally grown products followed by a presentation by Sophie regarding how social media can support rural people to connect and market their products for the benefit of all. 

On Saturday Sophie will run a workshop with her mother, artist Annie Herron, entitled ‘How to Compose and Share Great Images’. 

The cost of Friday evening is $30 and the cost of the workshop is $50.
