2019 marks the fourth Regional Events Conference held in NSW! Previous conferences have been held by King Events (Wagga events company) in Wagga and Port Macquarie and this year Dubbo have been selected for this unique regional NSW event.
This conference provides an opportunity for event professionals and event stakeholders to get together and hear from targeted and experienced presenters, discussing issues and topics that directly impact the regional event industry.
Regional Development Australia (RDA) is an Australian Government initiative that brings together all levels of government to enhance the development of Australia's regions. A national network of RDA committees has been established to achieve this objective. We connect communities, businesses and government to projects, programs, services, funding and other people.
In this role, RDA Riverina advocate for regional leadership opportunities and are proud to announce its support for the Regional Events Conference. We are now calling for expressions of interest from young people working or volunteering at regional business, industry, community, arts & culture events and residing in the RDA Riverina region aged 18 – 35yrs to be involved in this event. Eligible RDA Riverina LGAs include Bland, Carrathool, Coolamon, Cootamundra-Gundagai, Griffith, Hay, Junee, Leeton, Lockhart, Murrumbidgee, Narrandera, Temora, Snowy Valleys and Wagga Wagga.
RDA Riverina is offering to sponsor two delegates to attend Regional Events Conference to be held in Dubbo on 4-6 September, 2019. A quality 3 day program will be presented blended with networking opportunities and thought-provoking/constructive discussions that will appeal to those that are hungry for knowledge and strong industry contacts. RDA-Riverina will cover the following incurred costs:
Event registration (includes sessions and all activities)
Travel to and from the conference.
