Destination Riverina Murray, supported by Snowy Valleys Council, invite operators of tourism businesses to attend the Tourism Boost events being hosted on Wednesday, 5th February in Tumut and Tumbarumba.
The events are designed to bring together the many tourism operators in the Snowy Valleys and surrounding areas to share an update on the initiatives being delivered to re-energise the tourism sector in the wake of the bushfires that have affected the region. Destination Riverina Murray and the Snowy Valleys Council will present an update on tourism and event marketing initiatives being delivered at a national, state and local level to encourage visitors back into affected areas.
We are also excited to have Liz Ward, the CEO of Tourism Tribe as the key note speaker at the events. Liz has a wealth of knowledge about how to successfully market and promote your tourism business and has recently published a range of tips, tricks and resources to help tourism businesses following a period of prolonged loss of trade from a natural disaster such as the bushfires. Destination Riverina Murray are big supporters of Tourism Tribe and encourage you to attend this free event to hear directly from Liz.
Representatives from Destination Riverina Murray and Snowy Valleys Council will be on hand following the event to speak directly with businesses about the resources available.
