This Friday, SEGRA’s webinar will be an in-depth look at regional development and domestic migration. It will be lead by Dean Carson, who is a Professorial Research Fellow with the School of Business and Law at CQ University and a Visiting Professor at the Arctic Research Centre at Umea University in Sweden.
He is interested in who lives in, works in and visits small and relatively isolated rural areas. This interest has led to research into recruiting and retaining health professionals, four-wheel drive tourism, demographic change, economic and social innovation and management of dengue fever. Right now, Dean is 'stuck' in northern Sweden and spending time investigating the impacts of increased use of eHealth on the future of small towns and villages. And fishing.
This webinar is scheduled for Friday 24 July at 3:00pm AEST. To register for this session, please click below.
