Charles Sturt University | Parent Information Session

The Charles Sturt University (CSU) Parent Information Session will be held online on Tuesday 21 September 2021, 6.30-8.00pm.

CSU will run you through some important information in a short presentation and you'll also jump into your two chosen breakout sessions.

Breakout sessions

There are seven specialist sessions on offer. When you sign up, select the two you’d most like to attend. Each session will have a 15-minute presentation and then you can fire away with any questions!

  1. Arts and education
    Learn about communication and creative industries, humanities, social work, human services, teaching and education.

  2. Business, justice and behavioural sciences
    Learn about engineering, psychology, business, criminal justice and policing, law, information technology, and computer science.

  3. Science and health
    Learn about agricultural and wine sciences; allied health and pharmacy; animal and veterinary science; environmental sciences; exercise and sports sciences; medicine; medical and health sciences; dentistry and oral health; nursing; and science.

  4. Costs and scholarships
    They’ll cover what it costs to attend uni and how your child can apply for scholarships – because they have more than $3 million up for grabs!

  5. Residential accommodation
    They have a variety of accommodation options that will put your child at the heart of campus life.

  6. Early offer programs
    There are two ways your child may get an early offer to study with them. We’ll explain the Schools Recommendation Scheme and the Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program.

  7. Understanding UAC
    Get a better understanding of UAC and how to preference. Then learn how the Educational Access Scheme can help eligible students get into uni. If your child has been educationally disadvantaged through disability or affected by COVID-19, this scheme may be of interest.
