You will hear from defence industry experts from Defence and Aerospace NSW, and the Office of Defence Industry Support (ODIS), before learning how to create a winning ‘Defence-ready’ first impression in a practical workshop on quad chart development.
Lunch will be provided and there will be networking opportunities before and after the event.
Event program
Registration, morning tea and networking from 9:00am for a 9:30am start.
Mike Gallagher, Director Defence and Aerospace NSW, will open the event with an overview of Defence in NSW.
Stephen Harvey, Defence Industry Advisor ODIS, will give an overview of the changing landscape of Defence in 2022 and introduce the ODIS Defence Business Readiness Tool – a tool to assist you to understand what it means to be ‘Defence-ready’ and assess your business against best practices.
Effective Quad Chart Design: In this practical workshop you will be coached by subject matter expert and Deloitte lead for Defence Industry consulting and Strategic Communications expert, Shane ‘Buzz’ Sarlin. You will learn how to develop a quad chart to market your business more effectively to Defence and Primes. Bring your computer and leave with a fully developed Defence-ready quad chart.
Workshop concludes at 3:30pm with networking drinks until 4.30 pm
