Does your organisation deliver services, or a project aimed at contributing to the social good?
About this event
The Social Good Discussion is an opportunity for you and others in our region to raise the awareness of your mission. Chaired by Riverina Murray Business (BEC Business Advice) this is a collaboration project for anyone involved in doing good for the community.
With increasing competition, and often the need to do more with less, one key topic to ponder is, are there ways our organisations can leverage off each other to help fulfil our missions?
Many sectors in the commercial sector already employ such methodologies. In agriculture for example, co-ops allow many smaller businesses to combine and compete with larger ones. This also happens in retailing, travel agencies, newsagencies, independent grocers, and supermarkets.
How we could help each other at this point would only be a guess but talking about it could open doors we couldn’t imagine.
The key requirement is that your organisation delivers services, or a project(s) aimed at helping others or our society in some form, for the betterment of that target rather than for a profit.
Some (but not all) possible ways we could benefit from collaboration:
1 – Improve awareness of your cause and increase fundraising
2 – Learn and Share New Skills
3 – Innovate and Grow
4 – Gain Sponsorship and Support
5 – Save Money and Build Resilience
6 – Leverage the Assets of others
7 – Find More Volunteers
8 - Build a network of others who know about you and are open to helping.
