CEDA | Migration Forum: Attracting Skills and Talent to Australia

  • The Fullerton Hotel 1 Martin Place Sydney, NSW, 2000 (map)

Australia is continuing to experience one of its worst labour shortages in history. In an increasingly interconnected world, we need to change the way we think about talent migration.

Transformation of our migration system must address the challenges posed by an ageing population and declining productivity, making policy shifts critical for Australia to attract the talent and skills needed in key sectors of our economy.

Our prosperity as a nation is inextricably linked to how we approach migration. We need a long-term migration outlook that supports stable and predictable population growth and allows more effective planning of infrastructure, housing and services to meet the needs of all Australians.

Join CEDA and the Hon. Andrew Giles, Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs along with key public and private sector stakeholders for an in-depth discussion on the future of Australia’s migration system.

WHEN: Monday 20 November 2023 | 9.30am - 2.30pm

WHERE: The Fullerton Hotel, Sydney
