HumeLink Project Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Community Information Sessions

HumeLink is holding drop-in sessions to enable the community to learn more about the HumeLink Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The EIS describes the environmental, economic and social impacts that could arise from the project during construction and operation, and proposes measures to reduce, minimise or mitigate those impacts.

Once the EIS is finalised, the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) will place the EIS on public exhibition and call for public submissions.

During the public exhibition period, landowners, community, government agencies and other interested organisations will have an opportunity to make a written submission and provide feedback on the project.

This round of community information sessions will focus on the following technical studies:

  • traffic and transport

  • noise and vibration

As these sessions are drop-in style, there won’t be a formal presentation. HumeLink’s technical and project team will be at each session to listen and answer your questions.

In-person sessions will be held between 22 and 31 May 2023 at the following locations, dates and times:

If you would like to attend one of the sessions, please RSVP here.

If you are unable to attend these sessions, the HumeLink Project team will also be running a series of community information webinars. Dates and times of these webinars will be released in the coming weeks.
