Grants Available to Help Local Youth Take a Break this A Summer
The NSW Office for Regional Youth runs the Holiday Break Program to provide young people in communities impacted by natural disasters and COVID-19 restrictions with an opportunity to enjoy a range of activities, learn new skills and connect with their community.
Planning is now underway for the 2021/22 Summer Holiday Break program.
The Office for Regional Youth has grants of up to $10,000 available to eligible not-for-profit organisations to provide recreational youth activities, events, services and programs for young people aged 12-24 years in living in regional communities.
Activities must target one of the priority groups of young people identified below:
Aboriginal young people
Young people that are carers
Culturally and Linguistically Diverse young people
Young people from a refugee background
LGBTIQA+ young people
Young people living with a disability
Disadvantaged and vulnerable young people
Applications for funding are now open until 20 December 2021.
