Applications are now open for Creative Nations NSW, a funding program designed to support and strengthen First Nations artists, organisations, and communities across New South Wales. With funding available between $10,000 and $100,000, this initiative is aimed at fostering the growth and sustainability of First Nations arts and culture.
The program is open to both individuals and organisations, and it offers financial support for projects that:
Promote First Nations arts and culture
Share the stories of First Nations elders
Increase accessibility to arts and culture, including for people with disabilities
Preserve and expand collections at cultural centres or keeping places
Create and manage cultural festivals and events that celebrate the diversity of First Nations people
Market and promote arts and cultural events to broader audiences
Support cultural community gatherings and forums
Applications close on Monday, 2 December 2024, and are open to all NSW-based First Nations individuals and organisations.
