This course is designed to provide an introduction to grain harvest, WHS on farm and safe tractor operation.
Grain harvest workers need to safely operate and maintain sophisticated machinery and equipment while maintaining high standards of product hygiene. This introductory training program provides the basic skills required to be safe and productive in a harvest labour position and provide you with the opportunity to progress to highly skilled positions. The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
understanding the processes of grain harvest from the field to bulk storage
basic operational principles of a combine harvester, grain cartage, handling and storage
