Understanding what the numbers say about the health of your not-for-profit / community organisation / P&C is critical to being able to manage and follow along with the organisation/group successfully.

This workshop will go through the three main financial statements you need to be able to appropriately interpret.

• The Profit and Loss Statement

• The Balance Sheet

• The Cash Flow Statement

We will also discuss how to use the information found in these statements to assist with decision-making - and their limitations.

Betty is an Internal Auditor and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors as well as CPA Australia.

Over the past 25+ years, she has worked within the public, private and university sectors in administration, accounting and auditing. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), the Certified Practicing Accountants Program and the Graduate Certificate in Internal Auditing as well the Graduate Certificate in Wiradjuri Language, Culture and Heritage.
