The EDA National Economic Development Training and Education Program is designed for economic development professionals at any stage of their career. It is ideal for anyone who is working with communities to foster collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship. It will equip professionals to facilitate investment attraction and market development and is the ideal training for economic development professionals who are helping businesses to seed, scale and employ. Training programs are delivered by EDA’s experienced trainers who are experts in their field, with a deep understanding of the unique operating environment of economic development professionals.
Choose to register for individual modules or complete the full suite to become recognised as an Australian Certified Economic Developer (ACEcD). EDA members who complete 4 core and 2 elective modules will receive recognition. EDA members who already hold ACEcD recognition, earn 15 CPD points for completing individual modules. ACEcD members must accumulate 50 CPD points within a span of three years to maintain ACEcD.
The National Economic Development Training and Education Program will be delivered virtually commencing Tuesday, 4 February. Participants will benefit from the small, interactive groups, providing the opportunity to connect and learn with national colleagues from anywhere in Australia. Enrol in 4 core and 2 elective modules to become an Australian Certified Economic Developer or enrol in single day modules.
