The First Nations Innovator's Program is the culmination of a 10-week entrepreneurial journey rooted in First Nations knowledge and community-led innovation. Charles Sturt University also proudly participates in the Australian Government’s Startup Year—an eight-month initiative empowering recent university graduates to launch impact-driven ventures.

The evening celebrating both programs kicks off at 5:30 PM.

First Nations Innovator's Program

The Innovator's Program will feature bold and innovative business ventures developed by First Nations entrepreneurs who have fused cultural knowledge with contemporary business practices. These ventures go beyond profit - they're about sustainability, empowerment, and honouring deep cultural roots.

Startup Year

This event marks the culmination of Charles Sturt University’s participation in the Australian Government’s Startup Year program - an eight-month initiative empowering recently graduated university students to launch impact-driven ventures.

Rooted in regional innovation, the program combined accredited learning with hands-on venture development, connecting participants to a powerful network of mentors from creative industries, fintech, Indigenous enterprise, and social impact, with 60% of them based in regional communities.

The showcase is a chance to explore bold solutions to sustainability, inclusion, and community resilience.
