Employment Stakeholder Workshop

  • TAFE Temora 180 Kitchener Road Temora, NSW, 2666 Australia (map)

Temora Shire Council, Think Regional, and Bland Shire Council are inviting stakeholders involved in providing regional employment to an interactive workshop to share your insights and knowledge into a critical project.

Progress is being made on the new cross-shire initiative which aims to develop a customised HR support model to meet the needs of small to medium-sized businesses across Temora and Bland shires to attract, retain and manage employees more effectively.

Building on the insights gathered from the Temora Business HR Needs Assessment, two separate Employer Consultation Workshops have been scheduled for employers in Temora and West Wyalong to ensure the HR needs of a wide range of employer’s cross industries and towns, are incorporated into the co-design of the HR support model. Your participation in this separate Employment Stakeholder Workshop is critical to the success of the design (and implementation) of the most viable HR support model.

We are seeking your insights and feedback on;

  • The current SME employer utilisation of existing employment and training programs within the region - successes and missed opportunities

  • Insights on recurring challenges that prohibit SME employers from utilising these programs for the betterment of their business

  • The opportunities that you can see for the region if SME employers had increased HR capabilities

  • Your experiences of prohibitors to local youth career pathways with SME employers and opportunities you can see which could be supported by these employers having increased HR support

Your time, insights and ideas are incredibly valuable to this project.

We hope you can join us for a consultative workshop with your fellow employment stakeholders to help shape and inform the most appropriate HR support model for your region.
