In 2023, the National Australia Day Council (NADC) – with the support of the Federal Government – will provide $7.6 million to fund local Australia Day events.

Australia Day event hosts can apply for up to $20,000 to deliver events that use the NADC’s ‘Reflect. Respect. Celebrate. We’re all part of the story’ branding and is inclusive of all Australians.

Applicants that collaborate with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to incorporate activities that reflect and respect the history of local Indigenous people and celebrate their culture will be eligible to apply for an additional amount of up to $10,000.
