Calling all AgriFutures Australia growers and producers: you are invited to be a part of the inaugural Innovation Intensive Tour

Advancements in agricultural technology have enabled more informed decision-making about crops and livestock, eased traditionally labour-intensive tasks, reduced environmental impacts, and generated a range of efficiencies in production, processing and distribution.

Despite the increase in development of this tech, on-farm uptake has not advanced at the same rate. To support farmers to embrace and adopt technology within their businesses, AgriFutures Australia is providing 25 growers and producers from one of our industries or emerging industries with the opportunity to attend the inaugural Innovation Intensive Tour in Adelaide from 20 to 23 February 2023.

The Innovation Intensive Tour is a four-day, all expenses paid trip, where growers and producers will participate in a curated program designed to cater to the group’s interests. The Innovation Intensive Tour includes:

• A complimentary ticket to evokeAG. 2023, Asia Pacific’s premier agrifood tech event taking place on in Adelaide, South Australia with the opportunity to meet with agritech developers, investors, industry leaders, researchers, and agribusinesses from across the region

• A workshop discussing current and emerging industry issues and potential agritech solutions

• Tours of world-class tech and innovation facilities and

• A breakfast event with AgriFutures Horizon Scholars, Rural Women’s Award Alumni and Future Young Leaders.
