Destination Australia Program 2024 offers international and domestic students a high-quality learning experience in regional Australia.

The grant program provides grants to Australian tertiary education providers in regional areas to offer scholarships to domestic and international students. This Department of Education program includes funding to administer and promote those scholarships and promote tertiary education in regional Australia more broadly.

The Destination Australia Program aims to:

• attract and support international and domestic students to study in regional Australia

• increase the sustainability and growth of regional tertiary education providers and communities

• enable domestic students from underrepresented groups to access tertiary education in regional Australia

• help address areas of skills shortages and fill future skills needs.
