Applications are now open for the 2026 Country Arts Support Program, run by Eastern Riverina Arts. This program provides funding to support creative individuals, groups, and writers across the Riverina region, encouraging ambitious projects that strengthen community connection and cultural development.
CASP offers two funding streams in 2026:
Individual Artist: up to $750 for professional development or presentation of creative outcomes.
Projects & Collaborators - up to $3000 for original creative projects and collaborations that meet the eligibility criteria.
For Writers - A one-off grant to support individual writers, and projects by writing groups.
The program aims to:
Foster original and ambitious artistic work.
Build capacity for artist and organisations.
Promote creativity across the Eastern Riverina region.
Key Dates:
Applications opened: 15 December at 9:00am
Applications close: 2 February 2026 at 9:00am
Projects commence: From 1 April 2026
Projects finalised and acquittals due: 28th February 2027
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must live in one of the Local Government Areas supported by Easter Riverina Arts (Bland, Coolamon, Cootamundra-Gundagai, Lockhart, Junee, Snowy Valleys, Temora and Wagga Wagga)
Projects must be based within the Eastern Riverina region and align with CASP objectives
Groups must be incorporated, auspiced, a 355 Committee or volunteer-run facility of local government
Individuals must have an ABN

Coolamon on January 9th 2026
West Wyalong on January 13th 2026
Temora on January 16th 2026
Wagga Wagga on January 19th 2026
