This grant funded by the Mental Health Association NSW (WayAhead) aims to support mental health promotion activities or events during Mental Health Month in October 2025.

The Mental Health Association NSW (WayAhead) will provide up to 30 grants of either $500 or $1000 to mental health promotion activities or events across the following categories:

• General - for individuals, groups or organisations promoting mental health across all age groups and backgrounds.

• Youth - for individuals, youth-focused groups or organisations promoting mental health awareness amongst peers and young people.

• The Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) - for individuals, groups or organisations promoting mental health awareness and support amongst culturally and linguistically diverse people

• LGBTQIA+ Community - for individuals, groups or organisations promoting mental health awareness and support amongst the LGBTQIA+ Community

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander - for individuals, groups or organisations promoting mental health awareness and support amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
