The Community Led Climate Solutions delivered by the FRRR (Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal), supports non-for-profit organisations in remote, rural, and regional Australia to lead local climate action. The program empowers communities to develop and implement grassroot projects that build climate resilience and reduce emissions through practical, place-based solutions.
Eligible Projects Include:
Clean Energy (e.g. solar, wind, energy efficiency)
Circular Economies (e.g. recycling, waste reduction)
Decarbonisation (e.g. reducing carbon footprints)
Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems
Biodiverse Ecosystems (e.g. habitat restoration)
Just Transitions (ensuring fair and inclusive shifts to sustainable practices)
