Disaster Relief Loans For Non-profit Organisations

The Disaster Relief Loans for Non-Profit Organisations (NFPs) is designed to support (NFPs) affected by a declared natural disaster in restoring essential facilities, equipment or other assets damaged or destroyed and/or temporary storage or leasing of alternate premises required as a result of the declared natural disaster. Eligible organisations may be applicable for a low-interest loan of up to $25,000 to help with recovery costs.

What it covers:

  • Repairing or replacing damaged facilities, equipment, or assets

  • Temporary storage or leasing alternate premises

Key eligibility:

  • Must be a registered non-profit

  • Located in a disaster-declared area

  • Must show financial need and ability to repay

Loan terms: Up to 5 years

Deadline: Check the Authority’s website for closing dates

This program helps community organisations get back on their feet and continue their vital work.
