Applications are now open for the Transgrid Community Partnership Program, providing grants of up to $5000 to eligible not-for-profit organisations for initiatives that deliver lasting, practical benefits to local communities.
The program supports a wide range of community projects, including infrastructure improvements, educational activities, wellbeing initiatives, accessibility and inclusion projects, and environmental sustainability programs.
eligible organisations, including not-for-profit groups, community organisations, sporting clubs, and men's and women's sheds, are encouraged to apply for funding to help bring local projects and ideas to life. Grants are available for communities located near Transgrid assets, operations, and major project areas.
Since 2023, more than 470 organisations have shared in over $1.9 million in funding through the program, supporting initiatives that strengthen and enrich regional communities.
Applications close at midnight on Sunday, 25 October 2026.
