Winners of the 2026 Riverina Murray Business Awards
The region’s leading businesses have been recognised at the 2026 Riverina Murray Business Awards, with winners announced at a gala event in Wagga Wagga on Friday, 18 September.
Hosted at the Equex Multipurpose Stadium, the awards brought together more than 240 business and community leaders from across the Riverina Murray region. The event celebrated excellence across 21 award categories, highlighting the innovation, resilience and leadership driving regional business success.
Halocell, based in Wagga Wagga, was named Business of the Year after also receiving the Excellence in Innovation Award. The company was recognised for its breakthrough perovskite technology, which has the potential to transform global energy markets through innovative and scalable solutions.
The awards recognise businesses that continue to adapt, innovate and contribute to economic growth despite ongoing challenges facing the business community.
A number of elected representatives and business leaders attended the ceremony, including The Hon. Michael McCormack MP, Justin Clancy MP, Dr Joe McGirr MP, Lyall Gorman, President of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Paula Martin, Executive Director Regional NSW and Visitor Economy for Business NSW.
All winners from the 2026 Riverina Murray Business Awards will now progress to the Business NSW State Business Awards, which will be held in Sydney on 30 October 2026.
