Telstra Upgrading 4G/5G coverage in Temora

Telstra will be commencing a planned outage in Temora from 17 March to 30 March 7am - 5.30pm to improve the 4G/5G services. The upgrade will increase the mobile site’s capacity, helping deliver faster download speeds, smoother streaming and less congestion for local users. These works will also prepare the site for future enhancements to Telstra’s 5G network.

Telstra mobile customers will receive texts advising of the upcoming work. Landline services, NBN and Satellite internet services, and mobile coverage from other providers will not be impacted. Any calls to Triple Zero from a Telstra mobile when the site is off air will automatically connect to another mobile network if available for connection to emergency services.
