Giving Australian Music a Push in Schools
Minister Media Release: Minister for the Arts
The Australian Government is backing the next generation of music fans, artists, and industry workers with new support for youth music events and career development opportunities across the country.
The Push - Australia’s music charity for young people - will receive $400,244 through the Revive Live Program to deliver its high school tour and careers workshops, building on two highly successful events in the Australian Capital Territory and Victoria in March 2026.
The program will now expand nationally, reaching up to 12,000 students through six high school music events across New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Tasmania and South Australia.
The expansion will ensure every state and territory hosts a dedicated high school youth music event.
