Last month, Grow Our Own proudly welcomed a new partner in the Western Riverina region - ProTen, a leading poultry grower based in Euroley, NSW.

This month, Katie Pastro, Projects Officer for Grow Our Own Western Riverina, had the opportunity to film a Grow Our Own Careers video with the ProTen team across several of their sites. The video features insights from Farm Managers, a School-Based Apprentice/Trainee (SBAT), and the HR Manager, offering a behind-the-scenes look at ProTen’s operations and their commitment to workforce development.

ProTen has shown great enthusiasm for their partnership with Grow Our Own. Their involvement has already sparked interest among local agriculture teachers, who are eager to explore new opportunities with GOO-especially with the introduction of the poultry sector to our committee.
