Plus, an onsite gala dinner hosted by Professor Stan Grant Jnr on Wednesday 1st June.
That's what you can expect from the session, The Road To Hands-Free Farming, at the Digital Agrifood Summit 2022.
Food Agility's Chief Scientist, Professor David Lamb, will deliver the keynote presentation. Following that, Dr Sue Keay, Robotics Technology Lead at Oz Minerals, Steven Saunders, Founder & CEO of New Zealand company Robotics Plus, and Nick Ennis, NSW Regional Manager at Lawson Grains will join a panel discussion exploring the themes, possibilities and challenges of this session further.
Executive chairman of Bega Cheese, Barry Irvin, will deliver the keynote presentation for the session on The Circular Economy.
Whether you're a small family or part of a big business, it's clear we must collectively work towards a more sustainable future. In effect, this means reducing material use, becoming less reliant on resource intensive manufacturing, and capturing and repurposing 'waste'.
Following Irvin's keynote presentation, a panel of expert speakers will convene to provide examples of The Circular Economy model in action. As attendees, either in the audience or via the livestream, you will have the opportunity to ask the panel questions via an interactive platform.
The panel consists of:
Ben van Delden, Head of Agrifood Tech, KPMG
The Hon. Niall Blair
A/Prof Carol Richards, Food and Agriculture Sociologist, Queensland University of Technology
Moderated by:
Jacqui Wilson-Smith, CEO & Founder, Sustainable Innovation Company.
