2023 Thriving Women Conference

  • Joyes Hall, Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga NSW Australia (map)

TW2023 is the premier conference event to secure a sustainable future for women living and working in agriculture and associated industries.

This year's theme, Growing and Inspiring Women Connected through Agriculture, will focus on the critical role women play in the day-today operation of primary production, natural resource management and rural communities. Additionally, women also play a critical role in agribusiness and related industries including processing, marketing and value adding of agricultural commodities.

An initiative of WoTL Ltd, the conference offers a stimulating and supportive environment that encourages the development of networks, knowledge, and skills through participation and contact with other women. It will link women from rural and urban backgrounds to formal and informal networks and provide opportunities for professional development and self-expression during and post conference.  The conference attendance will be capped at 200.
The Thriving Women 2023 Conference Program showcases three inspiring keynote speakers and 15 toolbox talk presenters.

This year's conference theme, Growing and Inspiring Women Connected Through Agriculture, seeks to acknowledge and foster the impact women are having on their own lives, businesses, communities and industries. As a greater collective of us, every woman and man has the potential to impact the agricultural sector, strengthening its foundations for women.

The conference sub-themes are:

  • Building Strong Foundations

  • Future Frameworks

  • Cultivating Curiosity

  • The Power of Storytelling
