Join CEDA in exploring future fuels and the enabling infrastructure and regulatory environment required to facilitate and accelerate the decarbonisation of transport in Australia. By doing so, Australia can position itself as a leading economy in decarbonisation and climate adaption in a globally competitive market.
Transportation is currently the third largest contributor to emissions in Australia and is experiencing one of the highest rates of growth in all sectors, with current projections suggesting it could become the country's leading source of emissions by 2030. With somewhat disparate electric vehicle and transportation strategies in play across Australia, an opportunity exists to influence more cohesive and effective policy development, at both State and Federal levels.
Recognising this opportunity, CEDA seeks to convene relevant stakeholders as well as leaders from the transport, energy and technology sectors, in Sydney in August, to discuss the future of efficient and clean transport systems.
