Business Transition and Succession Planning Information Session

Riverina-based primary producers are invited to attend the free Business Transition and Succession Planning Information Session in Griffith, designed to help farming families navigate the process of family farm succession and business transition.

Hosted by Rabobank’s NSW Rabo Client Council, the interactive session will take place in Griffith on Wednesday 28 October and will be facilitated by Jim Benson, Director of Transition Partners.

The practical workshop will explore topics including:

  • Why family and business communication can be challenging and how to improve it

  • How to conduct productive family meetings

  • Managing different family goals and expectations

  • Starting conversations about succession planning

  • Planning for management, property, business and wealth transition

  • Tools to help manage family and business conflict

The session will also provide an opportunity to connect with other farming families, learn from real-world examples and gain practical insights into securing the future of family farming enterprises.

The session is open to all primary producers and is not limited to Rabobank clients. Places are limited to 30 participants, and interested attendees are encouraged to register.
