Landholders, farmers and anyone interested in sustainable land management are invited to attend the Landscape Rehydration Field Day in Taralga this September, exploring practical approaches to improving landscape health, water cycles and resilience to climate change.
Presented by the Mulloon Institute, and supported by Transgrid and Upper Lachlan Landcare, this introductory field day will provide participants with a foundational understanding of how water moves through a landscape and the strategies that can help restore and improve natural water cycles.
Attendees with learn how to:
Read water processes and interpret landscape health
Understand the role of landscape rehydration in farming systems
Explore natural structures and strategies that optimise water cycles
Improve landscape function and resilience
Connect with others interested in regenerative land and water management
The event will also celebrate the launch of a new Landscape Rehydration Community of Practice and Demonstration Site in the Taralga region, creating opportunties for local landholders to collaborate, share knowledge and learn from real-world examples.
